GEELONG WINE SHOW

24 year Anniversary

30 Oct – 17 Nov 2023

Now in its 24th year, the bay 93.9 Geelong Wine Show continues to bring together large and small producers from across the Geelong Wine Region showcasing the quality and diversity of their wines. This year’s show will be held at The Davidson restaurant at The Gordon.

A key emphasis on the Wine Show is to use the show as a learning and development opportunity for the region’s winegrowers. Entrants who are unsuccessful in securing a medal will be provided written feedback that could be drawn upon for future wine-making decisions.

Thank you to our valued sponsors, judges and Geelong region producers who make the Geelong Wine Show one of the standout regional wine shows in Australia.

Hall Of Fame Legends

2023 Hall of Fame Inductee

Robin Brockett

Robin started helping his mother make fruit wines in New Zealand in his early years. Now he has been treading the same soil and tending the same vines on the Bellarine Peninsula for over 35 years!

Starting out at Ag college doing agricultural finance, Robin was intending to work in an agricultural bank. After a year, he started working at a vineyard and winery, later deferring to begin studying viticulture. After getting a scholarship, he moved to Charles Sturt University at Wagga to study and came to Scotchmans Hill thinking he would be there for a few years, but has never left.

In recognition of his contribution to putting the Geelong region on the winemaking map, it is with great pleasure that we induct Robin Brockett into the Geelong Wine Show Hall of Fame.
